Payment of the registration fee entitles the candidate to sit the exam once, on the date for which they registered. The registration fee must be paid again if the candidate takes an entrance exam for the same subject on another date, or takes an entrance exam for another subject. 3. If the candidate has not paid the registration fee for one or more CCVX entrance exams for which he/she has registered, the CCVX has the right to withhold the results of the exams and, if applicable, the testimonies for all CCVX entrance exams the candidate has taken, until the candidate has fully complied with the payment obligations. Article 4 Registration and Payment 1. The registration for an entrance exam is open until 10 working days before the exam is held. 2. Registration for an entrance exam is only possible via the online registration form on www.ccvx.nl. Any other registrations will be disregarded. 3. By registering, you grant the CCVX a standing order for the non-recurrent collection of the registration fee. Candidates who do not live in the Netherlands receive an invoice and have to pay the registration fee by bank transfer within two days of receipt of the invoice. 4. Cancellation of the registration is not possible. The candidate must also pay the registration fee if they do not take the entrance exam for which they have registered. 5. As soon as the registration and payment have been processed, the candidate receives a confirmation by email. This can also be used as a confirmation of the registration with certain authorities such as DUO. The candidate should keep this email as proof of registration. Article 5 Exceptional Examination Provisions The CCVX may grant an extension of the examination time to certain candidates and/or allow them to take the entrance exam in an alternative form. For example, if a candidate has dyslexia or is not a native speaker of Dutch, they can request extra time. The candidate has to include proof with this request. In case of dyslexia, a statement from a psychologist or remedial education specialist is required. A statement from a general practitioner is not sufficient. If you are not a native speaker of Dutch, a birth certificate is required. A request for an extension of the examination time should be filed as soon as possible, but no later than 10 working days before the date of the exam. Requests for an extension of the examination time submitted after the registration deadline will be disregarded. More information about requesting an extension of the examination time can be found on the website of the CCVX. Article 6 Invitation 1. About 48 hours (not earlier) before the entrance exam, the candidate will receive an email with further information about the location and the materials permitted to bring to the exam. 2. The candidate must be present in the examination room 15 minutes before the starting time. 3. Candidates who arrive late should realise that they are disturbing the other candidates. The candidate should check if they received the correct exam assignments at the start of the exam. 6. The supervisors will inspect the identity document and the materials the candidate has brought. Then they will ask the candidate to sign the attendance list 7. If a candidate initially appears to have answered the questions on the exam sufficiently, but there is still doubt by the CCVX as to the candidate's level of knowledge, the CCVX may call the candidate for an interview and ask the candidate additional questions. Only after the CCVX has been convinced of the candidate's level of knowledge will the candidate be awarded a passing grade. 8. In case fraud is detected or suspected, the candidate will be notified and a mention will be made on the protocol exam session. The supervisor writes his observations on the fraud form and may ask the candidate to surrender any evidence (refusal to do so will be reported as well). The candidate is allowed to finish the entrance exam conditionally. The examiner can also detect fraud afterwards. If the CCVX determines that the candidate has committed serious fraud, the CCVX will decide what measures to take with regard to a fraud report. The CCVX can exclude the candidate from taking entrance exams for up to one year, including the entrance exams for other subjects than the one for which the fraud was detected. Additionally, any entrance exam results already achieved may lose their validity. Article 8 Result Letter and Testimony 1.
